Well, I think a lot of metalheads, especially progheads know Arjen - Dream Theater fans from 'The Human Equation' with James LaBrie, Symphony X fans from 'The Universal Migrator II...' with Russell Allen (Michael Romeo played somewhere-in-Ayreon too), fans of Blind Guardian, After Forever, Epica, Pain of Salvation, Katatonia,... from '01011001'...

So...
Any Ayreonauts on the forum? Cool or - what do You think about Ayreon and Arjen's other projects such as Star One, Ambeon and the newest one - Guilt Machine?

I keep meaning to check Ayreon out but I haven't done it yet. It seems to be a pretty highly regarded band at dreamtheaterforums.org, the other forum I post at.

Ayreonaut here.

Been a fan since ITEC (98 I think). The two-parter Flight Of The Migrator wasn't really good imho, though the story it tells was awesome and important. My favourite is still probably Actual Fantasy... The last one was also really fantastic.
I also LOVE Lucassen's side-projects like Star One and Guilt Machine... Great stuff.

i don't understand your question, but the translation in Dutch is: "Ben ik schuldig door te leven?"

All these voices are fans speaking of guilt, as they were asked to do by Arjen before the album sessions. He then received recordings from all over the world ! They form an important part of the album concept...

If I'm correct, the only french-spoken part is at the beginning of "Leland Street", and it says : "Ma seule Etoile est morte, et mon luth constellé porte le Soleil noir de la Mélancolie", which an extract from a 19th century poem by French poet Gérard de Nerval (awesome stuff by the way, but I don't know if it's ever been translated).

It roughly translates to : "My only Star is dead, and my starry lute holds the black Sun of Melancholy". Pretty cool, huh ? What a Face

Here is the whole part, if you like...

Je suis le Ténébreux, - le Veuf, - l'Inconsolé,
Le Prince d'Aquitaine à la Tour abolie :
Ma seule Etoile est morte, - et mon luth constellé
Porte le Soleil noir de la Mélancolie.

I am the Shadowy one, -the Widow, -the Uncomforted,
The Prince of Aquitaine with his ruined Tower :
My only Star is dead, -and my starry lute
Holds the black Sun of Melancholy.

I am Ayreonaut too, but not first of all...Ayreon gives a chances for many many new musicians and unknown vocalists in his projects and it is good....but in true now his music is for me a little too light. But I like very much his "Human Equation", "01011001" and will listen to Guilt Machine soon...his music has changed a little and I think it is going in good direction... Twisted Evil Basketball cheers
